Refund Policy

Draft for review. Payment gateways require a published refund policy; this must be confirmed by the foundation before launch.

Donations are generally final

Because donations are put to work quickly, we do not ordinarily refund them.

Donations made in error

If you donated by mistake — a duplicate payment, or the wrong amount — write to us within 7 days of the transaction with your donation reference. Where the funds have not yet been disbursed, we will refund to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.

Recurring donations

You can pause or cancel a monthly donation at any time from your donor account, or by writing to us. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not reverse past ones.

Effect on your receipt

If a donation is refunded, the corresponding 80G receipt is cancelled and the donation is excluded from our Form 10BD filing.
